New School Checklist
Welcome to 1-2-3 Wellness! The checklist below is intended to support new schools with a smooth onboarding process.
1. Sign and return your 1-2-3 Wellness Contract
2. Complete your Tech Onboarding Form
3. Create Your School Leadership Team
Complete the 1-2-3 Wellness Onboarding Form online
This form will help our 1-2-3 Wellness tech team set your school up for success on the app.
2. Create your 1-2-3 Leadership Team and assign roles
Please include your Administrator, Counselor & Teacher(s) on your 1-2-3 Leadership team.
a. 1-2-3 Team Leader - Leads staff roll-out, schedules regular team meetings*, serves as point person with 1-2-3 Wellness staff n and ensures that ALL students participate in the 1-2-3 Wellness practice once daily
b. Data Lead- Coordinates with your District IT leader and 1-2-3 Wellness coordinator to ensure that your school has access to the 1-2-3 Wellness app. Provides regular 1-2-3 Wellness data updates to the team and staff
c. Organization Lead- Organizes adult self-care efforts, schedules meetings, takes notes, ensures that every classroom has a 1-2-3 Wellness poster
d. Positivity Leader(s)- Celebrates student and staff successes, keeps team focused on your WHY to help change student lives, ensure that all stakeholders are celebrated for practicing daily wellness
* Please schedule monthly or quarterly meetings. Your team can make data-based decisions after reviewing student data found within the Educator Dashboard and Student Supports tabs on the 1-2-3 Wellness app
Introducing Your Staff
3. Introduce your Staff to the 1-2-3 Wellness Program
The resources below can support you when you introduce your staff to 1-2-3 Wellness.
a. Play Intro Video and/or show the Introduction PPT
b. Recommended: Promote Adult Wellness (decide if you want staff to use the app first and/or participate in the 21-day Self-care Challenge)
c. Make sure that all staff can login to the app
d. Agree on a time that all students will use the app at least 1X daily:
ALL students will use the app _________________ (Ex/Between 8-9am daily)
