With stress, depression and related challenges on the rise, schools and other organizations deserve an inspirational, transformative program to support all stakeholders in developing lifelong skills related to health, happiness & well-being.

Brain-based Solutions

1-2-3 Wellness offers simple, yet powerful, brain-based tools to create daily habits.

Students AND adults are guided to perform research-based, simple, yet powerful wellness checks that prime their brains for learning.

To use an analogy, just as we might stretch before performing a physical activity like jogging, practicing 1-2-3 Wellness is akin to preparing our brain to be a bit more primed and regulated for whatever activity we do next. You are invited to use this brain-based superpower strategically- by practicing 1-2-3 Wellness as a class just before a test, before a difficult lesson, etc. Similar to stretching before a physical activity, you are not only teaching them a process they can to use to be a bit more calm and regulate their nervous systems for the rest of their lives (long-term success). You are also helping your students to "prime their brains" for success for whatever activity is next (short-term and mid-term success).

The program strategically empowers us to cultivate safety (in the brain stem) and connection (in the midbrain) so that we are able to catalyze success with our prefrontal cortex empowered and activated.

Does 1-2-3 Work with Other Programs?

Yes, yes and yes!

We often hear “we already have an SEL program” or “we already use PBIS for behavior” or “we already have too much on our plates”. We agree. That is why 1-2-3 Wellness was created to take things off of your plate and complement the great work you are already orchestrating. We are here to help you build upon your success and simplify your life.

How? As 1-2-3 Wellness empowers students and adults to create daily calm, benefits “spill” into attendance, relationship building, behavior and more. Other areas become easier. It makes sense, right?! When students brain’s are primed to be more calm and ready to learn, they…..you guessed it…are calmer and learn more.
